SWITCH are a highly desirable Italian brand made famous by the way they make their frames. These incredible framesets are hand-made by overlapping biaxial and unidirectional carbon socks, hence creating great strength and lightness. This process is very rare and only carried out by experienced technicians. It is a process that is not replicated by any of the big manufacturers and something that Switch are proud of.
This small cottage business are based in Emilia Romagna, Italy and produce all of their framesets in-house, with meticulous attention to detail. They are extremely rare in the UK and NOT usually available to purchase.
This particular bike is the Kuma that was available in 2 different variants. The + model had a more basic carbon fibre build, whereas the ++ version was slightly lighter. Our version is the better variant of the 2 made with Toray carbon.
We have custom built our bike from the frame up, with our in-house Cytech qualified mechanic, creating a very unique bike that is extremely rare.
This frame was designed with lightness and speed, instigated by years of development. Using high-end carbon the company claim a frame weight of less than 1000g and 30% stronger than conventional standard carbon tubes.
Using a Shimano 105 groupset we have then married the bike with a full set of Italian Deda components, including the stem, bars and seatpost. To compliment the ride we have fitted an unusual set of white-rimmed Shimano wheels with matching Ultegra hubs. Brand new Vittoria Zaffiro tyres and Bike Ribbon Pro bar tape completes the build.
The parts for this bike have been individually sourced for their quality as well as their suitability for the build. Because of bikes pedigree we have spec’d the bike with a good level of finishing kit, whilst not overbuilding it. The result of which gives the bike has a great overall feel.
We are exceptionally pleased with the outcome. Having ridden the bike myself I can vouch for it’s speed and acceleration due in part to its light weight. When riding it the bike feels very surefooted and you feel that you are riding a bike of true quality.
The bike is in very good condition as befits a bike of this quality.

The bike is in very good condition. Apart from a few blemishes here and there you would find it difficult to fault the overall quality of the bike.
Overall this is an amazing bike, with incredible pedigree that offers fabulous value for money.
The bike is ready to ride.
N.B. # This bike is very difficult to value as there is no benchmark to formalise a valuation.
However, we have liaised with a number of specialist bespoke bike shops who in agreement value the bike is the region of £2850
