This is another one of our super carbon road bikes.
The `Venge` is the full aero carbon bike within of the Specialized men’s range. Unlike the `Tarmac` model it has an aero frame and thus more streamlined, the downtube being an excellent example of how the frame is expertly shaped. It is much sportier than the (more comfortable) `Tarmac` or `Roubaix` models but still offers reasonable levels of comfort due to the quality of the carbon fibre frame. This particular model comes equipped with an almost full Shimano Ultegra groupset that includes an FSA SLK carbon chainset. The gearing on this bike offers great flexibility as it runs a semi-compact chainset as well as an Ultegra 11-28 cassette, thus allowing the bike good flat speed as well as the ability to climb.
The overall spec of this bike is exceptional that includes Specialized’s own in-house components as well as a great set of in-house Roval factory wheels. We have also changed the tyres with a set of ‘vogue’ 28′ width Clement Strada’s that offer super traction, comfort and quality thus also giving the bike a more comfortable feel. We have fitted the bike with matching Specialized bar tape as well as colour co-ordinating white Fizik saddle allowing for a more comfortable perch.
The bike has been owned by one person from new as their ‘best’ bike hence the overall condition of the bike is very good. This is reflected by the crank arms, which show no rubbing from use. There are a couple of marks here and there but the refurbishment outweighs any shortcomings the bike may have.
The bike has been serviced and now has a new chain and cassette as well as fresh brake pads. As mentioned above it has new bar tape and a quality replacement saddle, thus ready to ride.

As you can see by the spec this is a fabulous bike. Overall a super bike that looks as nice as it rides with the added benefit of a few ‘comfort’ fittings allowing for a more pleasing & comfortable ride.
