#N.B. Eddy Merckx frames are NOT measured in a conventional way. They use the seat tube to measure their bikes, hence the sizing may come across as very small. Their Medium frame is more like a Small / Medium compared to manufacturers such as Trek, Specialized or Giant
EDDY MERCKX are a highly desirable brand made famous by the heritage associated with their owner. They have a reputation for making amazing framesets and over the years have become known to be the makers of extremely good race bikes.
The company is based in Belgium but are not widely available in the UK. They have sponsored a number of pro cyclists and have even had their own team.
This particular bike is their aluminium model in their range and features Shimano’s 10 speed Tiagra. To compliment this spec are Shimano’s R 500 wheelset, fitted with almost new Vittoria Zaffiro tyres. A new Pro Logo saddle and bar tape complete the build. Ordinarily it is difficult to find a bike that offers a complete groupset, thus no corners have been cut in this build.
The bike simply looks great in it’s black, white and red livery.
Serviced and refurbished the bike is now ready to ride.
