This is a fantastic bike that would be ideally suited as a superb race bike. The ‘S’ models are regarded as the sportier version within the range, as they are aero bikes; as such they are slightly heavier than the other sporty version in their range the R series: what both bikes both share is a lightweight construction that is exemplified by their excellent handling and fast acceleration. Once up to speed the ‘S’ is very fast.
The ‘S 5’ is the preferred choice of a lot of the Pro Peleton Race Teams and as such has great pedigree. The only difference between the models is the spec and the overall quality of the carbon used in the frame.
This particular model is the lowest model within the range that comes in 3 variants: the S2, the S3 and the S5. The S2 was originally supplied with an almost complete Shimano 105 groupset, a sub-standard FSA chainset and a poor set of Fulcrum wheels.
We have now upgraded the bike so that is similar (if not BETTER) than the ‘S 3’ model and as such a much improved bike.
The bike now comes fitted with a full Shimano Ultegra groupset, upgraded saddle, better Mavic Aksium wheels and brand new Vittoria tyres.
The frame is in very good condition and shows little wear and tear. As mentioned above the bike comes fitted with a full Shimano Ultegra groupset as well as a number of superb 3T parts. We have upgraded the bike in a couple of areas, most notably by fitting a pair of excellent Mavic wheels to compliment the ride. The standard Fulcrum wheels are heavy and do not roll particularly well so in order ensure the bikes speed and reduce it’s weight we felt it necessary to replace them.
We have then matched these wheels to a superb pair of Vittoria tyres that offer grip and stability in their slightly wider (and more comfortable 25` rubber.) The wheels are light and the high end tyres offer superb handling and comfort. We have finished the bike off with a brand new San Marco saddle and super comfy Shimano Pro bar tape to compliment the running gear.
The bike also has a super colour scheme that gives it huge kerb appeal and would make any new owner very happy.

This bike would be an excellent investment for someone looking for a great bike that offers performance and speed.
We have upgraded it in a couple of key areas and as such it is a joy to ride it. It is a worthy competitor to any of the other aero bikes currently available such as the Specialized Venge and in terms of speed and comfort it would be a wonderful bike to own.
The bike therefore offers a superlative performance at a great price, and a huge saving over that of a newer model, but with a much improved spec.
