This is a fantastic bike that would be ideally suited as a ‘Sportive` bike.
The Avail is the women’s road version in the Giant range that is similar to the Defy or in some modes the TCR.
This particular model is regarded as the sportive model within the range and similar in stature to the very popular men’s Defy model. The bike is very light and comfortable as it is made from Giant’s quality Toray carbon.
The frame is in good very condition and shows little wear and tear. There are a couple of marks on the frame here and there, but the overall condition is very good,
The bike comes fitted with a full Shimano Tiagra groupset as well as a number of in-house Giant Connect parts. We have upgraded the bike in a couple of areas, most notably by fitting a pair of excellent factory Fulcrum wheels. The wheels are a very worthwhile upgrade from the inferior Giant wheels and essentially makes the bike ride much nicer. We have then matched these to a set of (nearly new) Schwalbe Durano tyres. The wheels are both stronger and lighter, but more importantly considerably faster and much better than the standard Giant factory wheels, with the added benefit of the tyres that offer improved handling and comfort.
We have also upgraded the brakes; to a set of matching Shimano Tiagra calipers that offer a huge improvement over the standard Tektro brakes, thus offering better braking modulation.
To enhance the ride and overall feel of the bike we have fitted the bike with brand new and super comfy bar tape. This bar tape improves the comfort levels on the hands as well as being quite rugged and long-lasting. A colour co-ordinated ladies Giant Liv saddle completes the refurbishment.
The bike also has a super colour scheme that gives it huge kerb appeal and would make any new owner very happy.
