Trigon are quite a rare brand in the UK, but are very famous for making top quality frames for some of the bigger manufacturers such as Trek. They are a Taiwainese company that produce very high quality carbon with a range of bikes from low-end budget right up to Pro level. Trigon has been producing carbon products for the last 25 years and believes it has sourced some of the best carbon in the world. All of their products are handwrapped and are made in 3 different types of quality.
The RCC – 11 model is one of Trigon’s base models but is made from excellent quality carbon and finished to an exceptional standard.
Having ridden the bike myself it offers both speed and comfort. You instantly know that you are riding something that is extra special.
The bike is built with a full SRAM Rival groupset, with an FSA chainset. The bike has a full set of Intrepid components, that is Trigon’s in-house brand. Both the seatpost and the stem are carbon, that is mated to a brand new Selle Italia saddle and matching, Italian, black bar tape.
The Intrepid wheels are all aluminium with quality cartridge bearings. They are semi-aero and roll / feel exceptionally nice. They have received very good reviews and although we usually upgrade most of our bikes we felt that these wheels did not compromise the built/quality.
The bike simply looks stunning in it’s black, red and silver colour scheme. All of the parts on the bike colour co-ordinate thus giving the bike huge kerb appeal. The bike is not purposefully not over spec’d, thus allowing it’s new owner to upgrade it to their own individual liking. It still weighs less than 8KG!
As with all of our bikes some of the parts we have used on the bike are new and some are secondhand. As with our high-end refurbishments we spec the bike accordingly and always use new bar tape, saddles and tyres.
