This is a very good bike and represents excellent value for money. What makes this bike so nice is how it looks. It has masses of kerb appeal along with a great spec. The green / grey colour of the frame is extremely shiny, reinforced by the sparkle effect within the paint. The bike is in very good condition with only a few marks on the frame.

The Trek Lexa `SLX` has a superb reputation and is highly regarded as one of the best in the range as it is fairly inexpensive and yet offers a very good spec. (This model is top of the range; the series is available in different spec guises – the basic model is called the Lexa with the other models as such. S : SL : SLX )

We have given the bike a light refurbishment and most importantly upgraded some of the components.

The bike has a carbon fibre seatpost that is rarely found on an aluminium bike. We have replaced both the tyres and bar tape giving the bike a fresh new feel. In order to make the bike ‘extra user friendly’ we have fitted a slightly larger cassette thus allowing for a bigger spread of gears for the rider thus having an extra gear for the taller gradients on the road.

The bike also has fitments for mudguards thus making it a proposition for use as a winter bike.
