This is another one of our fantastic ladies Specialized road bikes.
This model is top of the Ruby range and comes fitted with Shimano 105 components. However, ordinarily it was equipped with older components but we have subsequently used more modern parts as well as custom built and upgraded the rest of the spec. It would have then been fitted with a pair of in-house and cheap (but functional) Tektro brakes, but we have matched the whole spec by using modern Shimano 105 calipers. Because of the super quality of the frame and overall condition we have built this bike with a superb pair of Shimano RS 81 wheels, that would often be used on bikes in excess of £2,000+. The wheels totally transform this bike into a much lighter and able bike that would be happy on the flat, in the hills or on long distance journeys.
The whole build has been assembled with new or used parts that would have featured on better quality models hence we have listed this bike as ‘Custom Built’.
Obviously, the bike has been fully refurbished and offers a new bike feel as some of the parts are new; and some of the parts are used or were already part of the original build. Other parts would have been sourced from another model in Specialized range bike, but of a superior quality.
To compliment the build we have also colour co-ordinated the bike throughout using a range of silver and black components.
As mentioned previously the bike comes fitted with Specialized’s in-house finishing kit but with an upgraded and very expensive women’s specific Specialized Ruby saddle that has titanium rails. The standard carbon Specialized seatpost compliments the wonderful saddle. The bike has then been finished off with Specialized comfy bar tape.
This is a super custom built bike with a great range of components. Because of the build it is a ‘one-off’ which makes the bike that more interesting and unique.
The bike has been built by our in-house Cytech 3 qualified mechanic; it has been assembled using new cables and outers and is ready to ride.

As you can see by the spec this is a fabulous bike. Overall a super bike that offers tremendous value for money.
