This is another bike from our excellent range of women’s road bikes.

The Specialized Dolce ‘Elite’ is one of our best sellers within the Dolce range.

There are many types of spec’s and frame quality within the series with the later ones being made from inferior tubing compared to the earlier models. The earlier ‘Elite’ and ‘Comp’ models featured an excellent quality aluminium frame that was made of ‘better’ Columbus tubing with the top of the range models having a carbon rear end with Zertz elastomers. All models came with comfortable carbon forks some of which were also fitted with the Zertz elastomers – which essentially offer suspension qualities.

The more recent Specialized’s DO NOT come with this type of frameset.     

This bike is in fair – good condition, which can be seen by a few marks on the frame. There is low levels of corrosion / wear on the levers as well as little wear on the chainset, reinforced by the lack of any wear / marks on the decals, thus overall good condition.. .

In order to give the bike greater kerb appeal we have given the bike a light refurbishment as well as upgrading it in a number of areas.

We have upgraded the bike with better brake calipers thus offering the bike with a full Shimano Tiagra groupset. Replacement and much improved Continental Ultra Sport tyres have been fitted with the more desirable 25` width. Brand new bar tape completes the refurbishment. In order to enhance the look of the bike we have colour co-ordinated all of the parts too thus giving the bike a fresh look with matching light pink bar tape..  

The bike is fitted with a great spec, offering a full Shimano Tiagra groupset, along with Alex AS1 wheels and in-house Specialized Stout hubs. Finishing kit is from Specialized that includes a carbon seatpost and comfy women’s specific saddle.    . 

The bike would suit a novice or a complete beginner as it has a wide range of gears, it has a triple compact chainset, thus having enough gears for the flats and the hills. Moreover, with the overall brake upgrade it makes this bike even more appealing. The bike is a lot lighter than some of the more modern models as it has a such good quality frame.
