Pinnacle are a little known English brand that started in 2006. They are based in Crawley, Sussex and were the brainchild of Scott Hargrave and Ben Spurrier.  The Pinnacle range offers exceptional attention to detail and importantly the brand put a lot of emphasis on women’s bikes, with their range of bikes from starter level up to the Aura Angel.

The ‘Aura Angel’ model in it’s ” 1.0 ” spec is at the top of the women’s range and offers a very good spec.

What is so unusual about the bike is that it made from very good aluminium that is then bonded to carbon fibre rear stays. This makes the ride more comfortable whilst keeping the weight low. To increase the overall quality of the bike it also comes with carbon forks and a very good spec.

This bike has a really great spec and has been built with a full Shimano 105 groupset (RS 500 chainset) and mated to a full Shimano 105 groupset. The Mavic wheels come with Shimano hubs, the result of which is a very light and surefooted bike. The rest of the bike is fitted with in-house Pinnacle Aura finishing kit, completing the spec with a San Marco saddle.  Almost new Schwalbe Lugano tyres complete the package.   

The bike has been serviced and lightly refurbished and would be a worthy competitor to either Specialized’s Dolce, Giant’s Avail or Trek’s Lexa models none of which offer the high spec of the Pinnacle or the quality of the frame.

The bikes overall condition is very good and this is reflected in the low wear on the components that are in first class order.
