This is a great bike that offers very good performance for a multitude of uses.
Equally at home during the Winter months, or even as an all year round training bike this bike offers incredible versatility. This model can be used as a winter bike (as it has fitments for mudguards) and plenty of clearance to fit fatter/bigger tyres. Equally it could be used as a commuter bike as it is rugged and offers great comfort with it’s all steel tubing frame. It can also be used as a year round training bike for the same reasons.
The Reynolds 725 steel tubing is both forgiving and comfortable. This type of steel is used on many touring bikes such is its quality. The all steel P2 straight-blade forks are incredibly sturdy and they are recognised as some of the best steel forks in the market. Not only are they very strong they are also forgiving too.
We have upgraded the bike in a couple of key areas; most notably by the adoption of better wheels. By doing so the ‘better’ Ritchey wheels now make the bike lighter with the added benefit of offering a better braking surface and improved hubs. Brand new Vittoria tyres compliment the wheels.
The bike has only had one previous owner, hence the condition of the bike is good. There are a few marks on it here and there but overall its in good order. The bike has been refurbished and given a full service and is ready to ride.
