This is a fantastic bike that would be ideally suited as a ‘Sportive` or Race bike.
The Avail is the women’s road version in the Giant range that is similar to the Defy or in some modes the TCR.
This particular model is regarded as the aero / sporty model within the range and similar in stature to the very popular men’s TCR model. The bike is very light and comfortable as it is made from Giant’s better quality carbon with this particular model having the more streamlined aero frame.
The frame is in good condition and shows little wear and tear. There are a couple of marks on the frame and one on the forks, but the overall condition is very good,
The bike comes fitted with a full Shimano 105 groupset as well as a number of in-house Giant Connect parts. We have upgraded the bike in a couple of areas, most notably by fitting a pair of excellent lightweight Giant wheels to compliment the ride. The wheels are from a newer model that essentially make the bike ride much nicer. We have then matched these with a set of Giant’s ultra reliable PR – 3 tyres. The wheels are light, but more importantly considerably faster and much better than the standard Giant / DT Swiss wheels, with the added benefit of the tyres offering improved handling and comfort.
To enhance the ride and overall feel of the bike we have fitted the bike with brand new and super comfy (high-end) Shimano Pro (extra width) bar tape. This bar tape improves the comfort levels on the hands as well as being quite rugged and long-lasting. To compliment the bike further we have also fitted with a super comfy (brand new) women’s specific top of the range Selle Italia SLS saddle. An upgraded stem completes the build.
The bike also has a super colour scheme that gives it huge kerb appeal and would make any new owner very happy.
