BG Bikes are proud to offer this super English Genesis road bike that offers a huge choice of uses.
Genesis are a UK brand, that are well known for their multi-functional models such as the Equilibrium (winter bike) the Croix de Fer (gravel/adventure) model, as well as their Datum model, that is primarily known as their ‘Jack of ALL trades’ bike. This model has become extremely popular as their ‘Go To’ bike as it offers everything that you want in a road bike, but offers huge wheels arches so that you can use it for any Gravel expeditions. It’s carbon frame offers comfort as well as speed.
It’s greater tyres clearances means that you could also run the bike with bigger tyres and we have done this by fitting large volume 33` tyres.
Now that the bike is fitted with wider, gravel tyres it would also be at home on many off-road trails and can / could be used on the road too.
The model that we have for sale is the Datum 30 model, but we have custom built it from the frame up. We have built it by using the very popular 1x set up with an extra large cassette. We have then married this with a great pair of factory Fulcrum wheels with SRAM gearing and matching hydraulic brakes.
As with most of our range we always try and upgrade in a couple of ‘key’ areas and we have done this with the wheels, that now offer the bike a far more superior ride. They are a very popular brand and are a very worthy upgrade to compliment the bike.
So; the sum of the parts equates to great all rounder. If you’re after a great comfortable bike that can be used for a multitude of uses then this is the bike for you.
