This is a great bike that offers amazing performance.
Focus are a German brand that in recent years has become second fiddle to Canyon.
However, like Canyon, Focus have also been one of the ‘go – to’ brands for some of the Pro Peleton Tours, with their Izalco model being the preferred choice of the teams.
These bikes were so popular that it was voted ‘Best Bike of the Year’ by Bike Radar, ahead of such bikes as the Cannondale Super Six, Trek Madone & Canyon Ultimate – all of which had a poorer spec.
This version of the Izalco is ‘Pro’. Each model have their own spec and this particular model comes fitted with a full SRAM Force groupset, that is one below their top of the range, SRAM Red, The super spec also comes with an excellent set of factory DT Swiss wheels that ensure that the bike rides fast and climbs exceptionally well. These wheels are a huge improvement over many similarly spec’d bikes in this price range and a welcome addition to the overall quality of the bike.
The bike is now fitted with better Schwalbe One tyres that compliment the characteristics of the bike. These tyres are one of the better choices available and are equally as surefooted as their competitors, the Continental GP5000 and Vittoria Corsa.
Finishing kit is from FSA that includes the stem, bars and seatpost.
The bike has been sympathetically upgraded with Rapha team replica parts that include the saddle, bar tape and hoods. This gives the whole bike a better look and much greater kerb appeal. The subtle pink and grey colours make the bike look quite unique too!
The bike has only had one previous owner who has looked after it, hence the condition of the bike is very good. There are a few marks on it here and there but overall its in very good order. The bike has been refurbished and given a full service and is ready to ride.
In keeping with BG Bikes ethos of upgrading all of our range the bike has had a number of visually aesthetic upgrades thus giving the bike nice kerb appeal.

If you are looking for a bike with an incredible spec and a better quality wheelset then this is the bike for you. It has the added benefit of being exceptionally light that gives you great confidence when climbing or descending. A wonderful bike that offers much better value than a similarly priced new bike, with the added benefit of being unique.
