Fixie Inc are a German brand that was founded in 2003.
They first began as a company that produced ‘town bikes’ with one gear, hence their name.
As the company grew they decided to make geared bikes and as such produced the ‘Pure Blood’ and ‘Betty Leeds’ models, both of which offered different types of rides. Either bike was available as a frame only or a complete build, with the Betty Leeds being offered with a SRAM Force drive chain and Ritchey finishing kit.
The ‘Betty Leeds’ is made from Aircraft Grade 4130 steel tubing that offers comfort, lightness and speed. It was known as the Steel Racer and with that, was given extremely good reviews.
However. we have used this exceptionally good frame and used the BG Bikes ethos to build a much better and improved version of the bike. We have built the bike with a full Shimano Ultegra groupset and matched that with high end Ritchey WCS and Pro components to compliment the build.
To further improve the ride quality we have matched this superb spec with very rare and fabulous quality Ritchey WCS wheels. These wheels are £700+ per set and totally transform the bike from a very good bike to an excellent bike.
It is then finished off with a San Marco Era saddle and matching (Italian) Selle Italia bar tape.
The bike has super Retro looks, a fabulous colour scheme that gives it huge kerb appeal and would make any new owner very happy.
