This is a very good bike that offers exceptional value for money.
Felt are an American brand that was founded in California by Jim Felt in 1994.
Originally distributed by Answer Products the brand relaunched in 2001, eventually being acquired by the Rossignol Group in 2017, after gaining much success with their variety of bikes. They were particularly successful with their time-trial bikes using wind tunnel expertise to produce state-of-the-art models.
In recent years they have gone on to sponsor many pro peleton teams including Bradley Wiggins’ Garmin-Slipstream Team.
With such provenance it’s no surprise that Felt produce some great bikes, none more so than their budget bikes within their ‘Z’ range, with this particular model being suitable for beginners and/or novices.
This particular bike has been given a light makeover and fitted with a user friendly long cage rear mech to allow a larger 32 tooth rear cassette. Along with the compact (50 / 34 ) chainset it allows for a super spread of gears suitable for any type of terrain.
The bike comes fitted with an almost full Shimano Sora groupset, matched to an FSA chainset. The rest of the components are in-house Felt branded parts as well as a set of (Felt branded) Alex R500 wheels.
The bike has then been serviced, fitted with replacement brake pads, tyres and new bar tape.
The bike is in fair – good exceptional condition and ready to ride.
