This is another one of our superb women’s custom builds.
The ‘Axial’ is the women’s specific model in the Cube range that they call the WLS, meaning Women’s Like Series’. The range covers both aluminium and carbon bikes all of which have different spec’s.
The GTC versions are made of carbon that are split into different categories dependant on the specification. Our particular model is the ‘Pro’ version that has a predominantly Shimano 105 groupset, with the exception of a Shimano Ultegra rear mech. The bike has the added benefit of a triple chainset thus allowing a huge range of gears, ideal for any terrain.
As with most of our bikes we have custom built it by removing most of the poorer quality parts and upgrading them all with better ones, thus making the ownership of the bike that much better. The refurbishment includes cable replacing as well as a full service.
The bike now has an almost full Shimano 105 groupset, with the brake calipers matching the rest of the spec, as well as an OE Shimano 105 chainset. The finishing kit is almost all from USA brand Easton, apart from the Scor handlebars that we have fitted thus allowing a more ergonomic fit for the rider. The brand new Selle Royale saddle and new (white) bar tape compliment the build.
The most significant and eye-catching upgrade are the super quality Fulcrum Racing 3 factory wheels, complete with Schwalbe Lugano tyres. These wheels are an excellent accompaniment as they match the build and offer speed and comfort to the bike. These wheels give the bike another dimension as they offer speed on the flat, which compliments the overall characteristics of the bike. They always get great reviews and roll effortlessly. This is a super little bike with a great spec. It is ideal as a Sportive bike and an excellent bike for club rides. It is even light enough to race but with the added benefit of many upgrades.
The bike is in only fair to good condition with a few marks here and to the frame or forks. However, any compromise in condition is far outweighed by the bikes’ numerous upgrades. As a consequence the price reflects this.

If you are after a comfortable, responsive bike then this bike would make an ideal partner. It has the comfort to use on any long distance rides, but also combines speed and agility for shorter ones. As you can see by the spec this is a fabulous bike.
Overall a super bike that offers tremendous value for money.
