This is an amazing bike with an amazing spec. And most importantly in almost mint condition.
The Boardman women’s range is available in aluminium(Fi) and carbon (CFi) with the later versions in huge demand.
The carbon Fi Team version is extremely popular and is highly spec’d. The ‘better’ versions come fitted with Shimano gearing and that is the case with this particular bike.
This carbon version is highly sought after as it (unlike the alloy version) comes fitted with a much better spec. In order to enhance the riding characteristics of this bike we have given the bike a makeover as well as upgrading it throughout. The frame has a distinctly aero build about it and thus deserves an improved spec and certainly better wheels.
Hence, the most notable upgrade are the Reynolds Solitude wheels that give the bike greater speed as well as better looks. (These wheels retail for nearly £500 and match the aesthetics of the bike.) Not only are these wheels much faster the standard Mavic or Ritchey ones they are lighter too and thus totally transform the ride and feel of the bike. The wheels have then been fitted with an excellent pair of brand new Hutchinson tyres, that are colour co-ordinated.
As a consequence of the wheel upgrade, thus making the bike faster, it will have to stop quicker too so with this in mind we have upgraded the brake calipers with a matching pair of Shimano 105 brakes with replacement pads. The cockpit is then completed with an upgraded high-end pro level Boardman stem, bars and upgraded Boardman Pro carbon seatpost.
The makeover is finished off with a new Vavert gel saddle (not as pictured) and Boardman pink gel bar tape. These additions not only make the bike look nicer but also makes the ride more comfortable, especially since both feature gel inserts.
The bike has only had one previous owner, from new (and we even have the original paperwork for the bike) hence the condition of the bike is exceptional. As mentioned previously the bike is in near mint condition.
The bike has been given a full service and is ready to ride.
