This is an great bike with a unique custom built spec.
The Boardman Fi range is available in aluminium and carbon with the white & pink versions in huge demand. Boardman only made these models for a couple of years in this colour before they changed the colour scheme to a much more sedate black and later on, grey.
Our bike is the aluminium version that we have built on a new / old stock frame. The bike has then been built with an array of new and used parts thus making the bike very unique.
The standard bike are usually spec’d with the older Shimano Tiagra 9 speed gearing and a host of in-house components as well as cheap Tektro brakes as well as Ritchey wheels.
Our bike has been built with a full Shimano 10 speed Shimano Tiagra groupset complimented by a full set of Ritchey components, including stem, bars and seatpost.
We have used a set of factory Fulcrum 7 wheels for the build that are fitted with new bearings, a new freehub body as well as a new cassette and chain. Brand new Schwalbe tyres compliment the refurbished wheels.
The makeover is finished off with a new Vavert gel saddle and Boardman pink gel bar tape. These additions not only make the bike look nicer but also makes the ride more comfortable, especially since both feature gel inserts.
Hence the sum of the parts makes this an extremely desirable bike.
