This is an great bike with a unique custom built spec.

The Boardman Fi range is available in aluminium and carbon with the white & pink versions in huge demand. Boardman only made these models for a couple of years in this colour before they changed the colour scheme to a much more sedate black and later on, grey.

Our bike is the aluminium version that has been upgraded throughout thus offering a completely custom built bike that is unique.
The standard bike is usually spec’d with the older Shimano Tiagra 9 speed gearing and a host of in-house components as well as cheap  brakes as well as Mavic or Ritchey wheels. Our bike has been built with a mixture of components that includes SRAM’s Apex 10 speed gearing complimented by a full set of in-house alloy Boardman components, including stem, bars and seatpost.

To enhance the appeal of the bike we have made it that much more desirable by fitting the bike with a wide ranging rear cassette thus allowing the bike to be used in hillier terrain.

We have then upgraded the poorer quality standard Mavic factory CXP 22 wheels with a set of factory Fulcrum Racing 6 wheels fitted with brand new Schwalbe tyres. The much improved wheels compliment the excellent frameset, making the bike lighter with better acceleration. This type of wheelset would normally appear as a standard fitment to a mid-end carbon bike and subsequently be valued between £250 – £300.

The makeover is finished off with better brake calipers, a new Vavert gel saddle and Selle Italia pink gel bar tape. These additions not only make the bike look nicer but also makes the ride more comfortable.

Hence the sum of the parts makes this an extremely desirable bike.
